Wisdom
Through wisdom a house is built. And by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. – Proverbs 24:3-4
To build a sustainable entity you need wisdom, and wisdom comes from God alone. That is why you cannot take the God factor away from whatever you are doing. James 1:5 attests that wisdom indeed comes from God: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
When building, the foundation is important; the higher a structure is, the deeper the foundation must be. The foundation includes rigorous thinking, meticulous planning, sound decision making and right choices. In business terms, these are your self-audit to determine what line of business you are best suited for, your business plan which usually covers knowledge of industry, knowledge of the market, knowledge of competition, knowledge of your processes, operations, legal and regulatory environment, etc.
When planning, the destination you see will help you in preparing appropriately. It is true that the depth of your preparation most times determines the heights of your manifestation. You must prepare mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Mental preparation is done by ingesting all information related to your field. Emotional preparation revolves around your ability to think through what you want to do from point A to Z. You have to think things through; you should have the end, the destination, or the outcome in mind. The 3Ps Planning, Preparation and Prayer are very vital to laying the foundation of an entity that will last.
